3.Customize your letter for each specific organization and
recipient. Do not send the same copy of cover letter to different recipients.
4.Give new and relevant information which is not included in your
CV, if you not doing so you duplicating your cover letter with the resume.
5.Show that you know the organization very well and you’re
familiar with the opportunities and challenges in their industry. Explain the
reasons for your interest in that particular organization.
6.Cover letter should show
your home work and express your knowledge about the position.
By creating an effective cover letter, you are convincing the
reader to look at your resume and you are distinguishing yourself from the other
applicants who are sending the standard cover letters that employers receive and
discard every day.
